Jeff “Iceman” Lisandro is in rush. The final table of Event #37, $10,000 World Championship Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8-or-better, was almost eternal, but finally Lisandro decided that 3 and a half hours were enough for a heads-up match and busted Farzad Rouhani in second place to claim his 2nd WSOP bracalet of the year.
When we arrived to the Heads-Up, Lisandro was behind, but achieved a comeback by winning a good amount of pots. Once on the top, hammered Rouhani one time and another until he couldn’t do anything. After a few all-ins and some split-pots, the second bracalet for Lisandro was a matter of time.
So, Lisandro claims his second gold bracelet of this year’s World Series and proves himself to be one of the best seven-card stud players our days, and in poker history. Along with his jewelry piece, he also got a $430,000 check for his efforts.
Congratulations to Jeff Lisandro on winning Event #37 – $10,000 World Championship Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo and winning his second gold WSOP bracelet this year!
