Here we come with some updates about the Russian Poker Tour event that’s going on in Moscow this weekend. While the Russian did not that good in the Eurovision festival celebrated yesterday in Russia’s capital, russian poker players were on rush in the RPT. In fact, all final tablists are russian! Among them we can fin some well known names as Ivan Demidov, runner-up in WSOP 2008 Main Event, and Alexander Kravchenko, who finished 4th in the same event on 2007.
The situation at the start of the final table was the following:

Day 3 saw 36 players fighting their way to the coveted final table. Only nine would achieve it, and only 27 will get paid. Alexey Maslov ended with the bubble falling on 28th place, and after nine hours of play, we got down to the final nine.
Also the day saw how Sergey Rybachenko, who kept the lead early in the say, was kicked in 27th place when his straight met Oleg Shamardin’s boat on the river. Oleg Shamardin will start the final table as the chip leader and will be fighting for the first prize of 14,323,000 rubles ($445,000).
