Vitaly Lunkin is the champion of PokerStars RPT Moscow
Despite a couple of good poker professionals were present at RPT Moscow final table, Ivan Demidov and Alex Kravchenko, both World Series final tablist, the title went to Vitaly Lunkin, a less known but very talented russian former backgammon player.
He claimed the first prize of 14,323,000 rubles ($445,000) after beating Vyacheslav Goryachev at final heads-up with with T-T against A-6. Vitaly was not an unknown player and he had won several titles before, the most important being the WSOP bracelet he captured last summer in the 1,500 No Limit Hold’em event.
