The most important event in the 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is now part of history, as is the goal that Harrison Gimbel has achieved after seven though days of competition in Paradise Island, Bahamas.
Gimbel, 19 years old, is now the youngest champion of the PCA since it started seven years ago with that cruise-based tournament won by Gus Hansen.

The countdown for the PCA main event has ended. The countdown for the 50 side events scheduled for this year’s PokerStars Caribbean Advendure is history. The PCA is around the corner and will start tomorrow January 5th at noon (ET). The main event already has more than 1,100 people signed up and in-person registration has just started.

Czech student Jan Skampa is the new EPT Prague winner for a first prize of €682,000.
Skampa, who came fourth only two weeks ago at EPT Vilamoura, beat Israeli Eyal Avitan in three-hour heads-up duell. He had already broken records by making two great EPT finals in a row after finishing fourth in Vilamoura two weeks ago.
Skampa, 23, who is studying economics at St Charles University in Prague is now the first Czech champion in EPT history.

The EPT Prague is underway and day 1a is history. The task yesterday was to play eight levels, all finished by now, that saw how 100 players out of the 219 who took their seats at noon lost all chances to leave the event with some money to fill their pockets.

A new edition of the PokerStars EPT Prague kicked off today in the Hilton Prague Hotel, and more than 200 took their seats and will try to advance to Day 2.
Some of the best names in the game are competing in the 5.250 € event as, Pieter De Korver, JP Kelly, or the EPT5 Dortmund winner Sandra Naujoks “Black Mamba”. Also the winner of first ever EPT Prague, celebrated back in 2007, Arnaud Mattern is playing today.

Local portuguese businessman Antonio Matias is the new, and first-ever, EPT Vilamoura champion. The tournament was the riches ever held in Portugal, and Matias headed home with a a cheque of €404,793.
Matias, 54, bested some of the biggest names in the circuit in the €5,300 main event to claim the title. Matias was the first player to win on home since Sandra Naujoks achieved the same on Season 5 Dortmund event.

We have a new EPT champion. Christophe Benzimra, from France, has just won EPT Warsaw for a first prize of 1,493,170 PLN (€358,644).
The 47-year-old from Nice, defeated the Italian online pro Alfio “aLFiosNob” Battisti to claim the tournament. Benzimra started playing poker only 3 years ago, but has played almost every EPT event during the last 2 seasons.

Aaron Gustavson was, in fact, such a candidate to claim it. Nobody doubted on that. Some months ago, he won a PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $135,000. Also, he had quite good success at the PokerStars WCOOP. He also won a tourney at the Borgata in Atlantic City. In a few days, the PokerStars EPT London will start once again, for the sixth consecutive year. The Vic is no longer hosting the tournament and the biggest part of the action will take place at Hilton Metropole.
Said that, altough we didn’t know it when happened, Michael Martin, the Season 5 winner, would be the last person to win a EPT London Main Event in the Vic.
